PRECITEC will participate in the round table on the transformation of electric mobility at MUBIL Mobility Expo

Irún, March 2026. The international laser technology company Precitec, a specialist in 3D metrology and industrial laser processing, will participate in MUBIL Mobility Expo 2026, the leading event in Southern Europe dedicated to the sustainable mobility value chain.

Javier Jimeno, CSO of Precitec in Spain and Portugal, will take part in the round table discussion “360º Electric Mobility: The transformation that is reshaping the entire value chain”, which will adress the technological and industrial challenges associated with vehicle electrification.

The transition to electric vehicles is driving new manufacturing requirements, particulary in battery production and power electronics. In this context, Precitec provides optical sensors for non-contact inspection that enable high-precision measurement of critical parameters for quality control, as well as real-time laser welding monitoring systems that ensure full process traceability and reliability.

In the words of Javier Jimeno:

“Electrification is transforming manufacturing processes. Technologies such as optical metrology and laser welding monitoring are essential to ensure the quality and reliability of electric vehicle components. MUBIL is a key forum to share this vision with the sector.”

Precitec’s participation reaffirms its commitment to developing solutions that contribute to more efficient and precise manufacturing, aligned with the challenges of electric mobility.
